Massachusetts Pirates

This is Darren Carrington’s fourth season in a Pirates uniform. From 2001 through 2023 the 6’3”, 200 lb. wideout appeared in 35 regular season games with Massachusetts and recorded 105 receptions for 1,305 yards with 28 touchdowns and 170 total points. He also has recorded 26 yards on eight carries. Carrington II, who hails from San Diego, CA, has also played in four playoff games with the Pirates with nine receptions for 98 yards.

Last year in 13 games Carrington II had 45 receptions for 616 yards and 13 touchdowns which were all career highs.

Carrington II had an impressive collegiate career in the Pac 12 where he was a two-time All-Conference selection, playing three seasons at Oregon and one at Utah as a graduate transfer. After graduation he attended the 2018 NFL Combine and signed as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys, spending the preseason with the team. Later that year he signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League and was a member of their practice squad. 

After playing with the Pirates for two seasons, Carrington II signed a contract with the Edmonton Elks of the CFL in 2022 before returning to Massachusetts.
