Biography

Turner spent six years at the school in New Brunswick, NJ and finished his career with 179 tackles, 20.5 tackles for a loss including six sacks, one forced fumble, five passes defended and two blocked kicks. After graduating he was drafted by the Seattle Sea Dragons in the 2022 XFL Draft.
 
In 2021 Turner was team captain and started all 13 games at defensive tackle. He recorded 42 tackles with five for a loss along with 2.5 sacks. At the end of the season he was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten by both the coaches and media. Pro Football Focus tabbed him as a third team selection and he was named as an All-ECAC Defensive selection. An outstanding student, Turned earned All-Big Ten Academic
Honors for the second time in his career.

In the pandemic season of 2020, he started eight of the nine games and claimed
Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors from the coaches and the media.

In 2019 Turner lined up at nose tackle and started all 12 games. He led the defensive line with 45 tackles and was one of one of 15 players nationally to block two kicks during the regular season. That year he established a career high of making eight tackles in a game against Michigan State.
 
After arriving on the Banks of the Old Raritan in 2016 and not seeing action, he
established himself the following year making the All-Big Ten Academic List while playing in 12 games. In 2018 Turner followed that up starting 11 of 12 games and recording 34 tackles including seven against Penn State. That season he had three tackles for loss and batted down four passes from the nose tackle position.
