Biography

Offensive lineman Jeremy Cooper comes to Massachusetts for the 2024 season. Cooper was a mainstay on the offensive line at the University of Cincinnati.

Cooper, who checks in at 6’3”, 325 lbs., was invited to rookie minicamp with the Kansas City Chiefs this past season after taking part in the NFLPA Bowl.

A product of Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, IL, Cooper played in 43 games with the Bearcats from 2018 through 2022 making 29 starts. As a true freshman he appeared in four games before taking a redshirt year. In 2019 he started the first four games before injury ended his season. That year he was a member of the All-American Conference All-Academic Team.

Cooper started to gain the attention of scouts in 2020 when he saw action in nine games being a part of a line that led the AAC with 5.6 yards per carry while allowing a conference low of nine sacks.

In 2021 he started all 14 games at left guard on a team that was 13-1 and ranked fourth in the Nation. His offensive line powered the Bearcats to 6.71 yards per play which was ninth best in the country. The line also gave up just 53 tackles which was seventh best in the land. That season Cincinnati set school records with 70 touchdowns and 516 points.

In his final year, 2022, Cooper made eight starts on a line that was ranked 16th in the country in red zone offense (.902) and 21st in fourth down conversion rate (.619).
