Sanders, 24, adds consistency and size to the secondary. Standing at 5-foot-11, Sanders played all 13 games in his first three years at Georgia and 15 his senior season. Sanders most notably picked off now Cleveland Brown’s starting quarterback in the 2017 national semifinal.
He went undrafted and spent time with the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.
When asked about Sanders, Yatim had nothing but great things to say about his new defensive back.
“Dominick had a decorated career at Georgia,” Yatim said. “In my opinion, he has fantastic ball skills, he got his feet wet in the arena game last year with Columbus so he’s coming into camp with some experience. Good size for the position, a ball hawk evident by his production at Georgia. It’s going to be a competitive camp and looking forward to Dom getting here in March.”
