The Pirates are committed to the future of our community!

Our P.A.S.S. Program, is designed to promote literacy and healthy habits amongst our local youth through reading, writing, and physical education initiatives. It is the goal of the Pirates organization to not only entertain the community but also become a major part of it. Through the encouragement of the Pirates reading & incentive programs, to the fun and physical exercise and participation programs, the Massachusetts Pirates are dedicated to the investment in our youth, the future of New England and all of Pirate Nation.

READ LIKE A CHAMP!

Not only will the students involved in the Massachusetts Pirates reading programs benefit from new adventurous and eye-opening books and stories, but they will also get the chance to earn themselves Pirates tickets! The Pirates will work with your school administrators to install appropriate goals and incentives that align with current learning objectives (Number of pages/books read etc). In addition to the incentive programs and reward systems, the Pirates are always happy to pull up our sleeves and lead by example, as Pirates players, staff, and even the Pirates mascot Arthur, would be available as guest readers to all participating classrooms!

pen pal with one of your favorite Pirates players!

The “Pirates Pen Pal Program” affords students the opportunity to keep in touch with Pirates players through a series of back and forth written letters. This opportunity for students will not only sharpen writing skills and encourage participation but will also spur friendships and allow students the opportunity to gain valuable perspective, as they learn about someone completely new who plays professional football, right around the corner!

MINI-COMBINE AT SCHOOL!

Allow the Pirates organization to set up a mini football combine at your school field day or gym class with accompanying drills and of course, Pirates players and coaches to be there to assist all the action! Who in your school runs the fastest 40-yard dash? Let’s find out! Want the Pirates players to amp-up your Health or Physical Education class? The Pirates players and coaches are more than excited to come by your school to talk about healthy eating habits, exercise drills, and all the other positive habits they practice to get ready for game day!

Would your students like to meet The Massachusetts Pirates very own award-winning, wild and wacky mascot, Arthur?!

Arthur is available to attend your school’s upcoming field day, gym glass, school assembly, sporting event, book fair, or any other event that you feel Arthur can really help blow out of the water! Along with providing great assistance to the Pirates Reading Program and Physical Education initiatives, Arthur can also jump on board your pre-existing school events, to really provide that extra push, ensuring a memorable experience for all!

Partnering with the Massachusetts Pirates is more than cool, its community! We would like to encourage all schools to reach out and learn more about how the Pirates organization and it’s players can help strengthen some of your institution’s current programs, as well creating new ways and objectives to further enhance your students learning experience!

Education and Community are both strong values held by the Massachusetts Pirates! We encourage ALL schools and educational facilities to reach out to us, as we would love to partner and introduce your organization to our PASS Program.

If you feel this program would benefit your school or organization, please feel free to fill out the Contact Request form, email us at contact@masspiratesfootball.com, or call and speak to the Director of Community Outreach at (508) 452-6277.
