Pirates Sign WR Teo Redding – Presented By Phoenix Communications, Inc.

WORCESTER, MA – The Massachusetts Pirates have signed wide receiver Teo Redding for the 2022 season. Redding joins the Champions of the Indoor Football League after being a member of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League last season.
The 6’1”, 180 lb. wideout played collegiately at Bowling Green University and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Detroit Lions of the National Football League in 2018. That same season he spent time on the practice squads of the Washington Football Team and the Green Bay Packers.
Redding, who hails from Warren, MI, played five games in the XFL in 2020 for the New York Guardians posting eight receptions for 102 yards. His best performance was in a 30-12 win over Dallas where he had three catches for 46 yards.
At Bowling Green, the communications major played in 44 games earning 19 starts. Redding totaled 84 receptions for 1,328 yards and 14 touchdowns. In 2017 as a senior, Redding earned Second Team All-MAC honors as in 11 games he posted career bests in receptions with 45, receiving yards with 624, and touchdowns, finding the endzone eight times which lead the team.
