Pirates Sign OL Roubbens Joseph – Presented By Phoenix Communications, Inc.

WORCESTER, MA – The Massachusetts Pirates have signed Roubbens Joseph for the 2022 campaign. The 6’4” 320 lb. offensive lineman joins the Champions of the Indoor Football League after winning a title last season in the National Arena League with the Albany Empire.

Joseph was an All-First Team NAL selection as he appeared in five of eight regular season games and both of the Empire’s playoff victories. Joseph’s efforts enabled Albany to lead the league with an average of 60.8 points per game, 2,527 yards of total offense, 280.8 yards per game and the top rushing offense in the NAL.

After playing at the University of Buffalo, Joseph spent three years on practice squads with three different NFL teams. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2017. 2018 saw him with the Miami Dolphins and in 2019 he moved on to the Washington Football Team.

In 2019 Joseph signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League where he played in three games.

A native of Springfield, MA, Joseph played his high school football at Commerce High where he was named an All-League and All-Western Massachusetts selection as a senior. He then attended Hudson Valley Community College where he was ranked as one of he Top 50 offensive tackles in Junior College.

In 2015 he transferred to the University of Buffalo where he played for two seasons. As a junior he appeared in eight games and earned three starts. His senior season saw him in six games, starting each time.
