WORCESTER, MA- The Massachusetts Pirates are proud to work in partnership with Canines for Disabled Kids, a non-profit organization located in Worcester dedicated to increasing independence for children with disabilities and their families. Canines for Disabled Kids strives to expand knowledge and awareness of service animals while making service dogs more obtainable and assisting families of disabled kids.

On December 11th, Canines for Disabled Kids, and the Massachusetts Pirates will be going “over the edge” to support disabled children and service dogs. Supporters of Canines for Disabled Kids, as well as a member of the Pirates organization will rappel down the roof of the Mercantile Center, located on 120 Front Street in Worcester. The Mercantile Center stands nine stories high, about 110.23 feet off the ground.

This event gives people the opportunity to live out their stuntman dreams, all while supporting disabled children and service dogs. The event is limited to 90 slots. Registration is $50, and to secure your spot is $1,000. If you feel more comfortable with a wingman by your side, registration for two is $100 and $1,700 secures your spot.

There will also be incentives along the way. One being if you raise $1,500 you will receive a GoPro recording of your repel.

Arthur the Pirate will be there, along with the Massachusetts Pirates Cheerleaders, and street team as we strive together to raise money for this amazing organization.
