WORCESTER, MA – On Tuesday, September 21, the City of Worcester will celebrate the Massachusetts Pirates Indoor Football League Championship with a rally at City Hall, honoring the team at 4:30 pm.

The Pirates defeated the Arizona Rattlers in Phoenix last Sunday in a thrilling 37-34 overtime victory to win the United Bowl and the teams’ first ever championship. Several of the players, coaches and ownership will be on hand with the championship trophy.

The event is free and open to the public. The party atmosphere will be complete with a DJ providing music, food trucks, and championship merchandise that will be on sale along with tickets for the 2022 season.

The Pirates look forward to celebrating their title with the City of Worcester.
