WORCESTER, MA – In our new series showcasing some of the behind-the-scenes staff for the Pirates, let me introduce Pirates fans to the Director of Ticket Operations, Brittany Fuller. I had some time to talk to Brittany to get to know more about her and find out what the ticket options will be for the 2022 season.

RB: How long have you been with the Pirates?
BF: I have been with the Pirates for two years. I started with them right out of college after graduating from Mitchell College in New London, Connecticut.

RB: What is it about the job that attracted you to join the Pirates?
BF: Being able to engage with the fans and finding ways that will continue to create a unique experience for them.

RB: What is your favorite memory with the team? Why?
BF: My favorite memory would be at our season ticket holder party. I have been connecting with fans mainly over the phone or through email communication, but being able to put faces to all the names and getting to be able to interact with them in person was truly special and I can’t wait until we have more.

RB: Who is your favorite player? Why?
BF: All the players are great so picking one is very difficult, but I would have to say Thomas Owens. Not only is he a force to be reckoned with, but he continues to work hard behind the scenes to be great and put in work on the field on game days. That must be why he is one of the top receivers in the IFL right now.

RB: How do you think the team will do in the playoffs?
BF: I think the team will continue with this winning streak momentum and be very competitive in some great games coming up. This Pirates team has a chance to change the culture and continue to win.

RB: What are your job responsibilities with the Pirates?
BF: I oversee all ticket operations. I connect with fans to make sure they have tickets for the games, and I also connect with the new prospective fans to get more people to attend the games. I am currently making sure that everyone has their tickets for the playoffs as well as for next season. I train my team to connect with interns as well as people on my sales team to make sure that they are all meeting their goals.

RB: What would be the number one reason for people to buy tickets to a Pirates game?
BF: The atmosphere is electric! There are no other sports games I have been to where it continues to be action packed, high scoring and overall enjoyable. Whether you have guys getting slammed into the dasher boards or when our kickers make it through the goal posts and seeing fans get a chance to catch a game ball, the action never stops. These are experiences I am happy to be a part of sharing with the community, especially after the game when all the fans get to come onto the field to interact with the players.

RB: What do you like about your job the most?
BF: I like being able to connect with fans as well as learning about what they like or dislike and how to make their experience with us the best it can be. Perhaps it may be doing or getting things for them that would acknowledge that they spent more time or money with us, or it could be added benefits or amenities for season ticket holders.

RB: What are the different ticket options for the 2022 season? Anything new?
BF: We have the regular single game tickets. We also have a four-game flex option where you can pick four out of our eight home games to go to if the whole season is too much of a commitment. We also have two season ticket packages. The first one ranges in price per ticket from $120 in the upper level all the way to $480 for the lowest level seats by the field. This package also gives fans 10% off Pirates’ merchandise, invitations to Pirates events, as well as 50% off home playoff game tickets. The other option is Pirates Gold, which is our most luxurious package because it has more amenities. For example, you can get complimentary tickets to a first round playoff game if we wind up hosting it, and you can also get 50% off remaining home playoff game tickets. In addition, you also get invited to Pirates events and you also get a Ninth Man jersey as well as a Pirate’s lanyard. These tickets range from $320 for the upper level all the way to $1,200 for the front row. All these options will help fans save money and can give them the additional benefits I mentioned.

We thank Brittany for her time and be sure to be in touch with her to get tickets for next season.
