Pirates to Honor Boston Renegades Aug. 7

WORCESTER, MA – The Massachusetts Pirates have invited the Boston Renegades professional women’s tackle football team to be their guests on City of Champions Night, August 7 when the Pirates take on the Green Bay Blizzard at Phoenix Field at the DCU Center at 7:05.

The Renegades won a historic third straight Women’s Football Alliance National Championship this past Saturday night, defeating the Minnesota Vixen 42-26 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. The Renegades finished their season 7-0 which extended their unbeaten streak to 22 games. The Renegades are six-time WFA Champions.

Football fans of all ages will be able to meet the team and take pictures with the Renegades and their championship trophy on the DCU Center concourse before the game.
