WORCESTER, MA – The Indoor Football League has announced that this week’s Game of the Week on Stadium will be the Pirates facing the Tucson Sugar Skulls Live from Tucson Arena at 8:00 PM (Eastern).

Fans across the country will have the opportunity to see one of the IFL’s most prolific passing combinations in quarterback Alejandro Bennifield and wide receiver Thomas Owens. Bennifield is among the top ten in every statistical category while Owens ranks first in the IFL with 27 receptions and 393 yards. His nine touchdown receptions rank him second in the league. The Pirates’ defense is giving up just 30.8 points per contest and allowing only 153.5 yards per game which is best in the league.

This will be the first time that the Pirates will appear on the leagues’ national telecast, but it won’t be the only time. After a bye week, Massachusetts’ next game will be a rematch with the Frisco Fighters and it will also be the IFL Game of the Week on Saturday, July 3.

Stadium is the original multi-platform sports network featuring exclusive live and on-demand games and events, extensive highlights, classic games, original programming, and daily live studio programming. Stadium includes a 24/7 linear feed distributed across both digital and broadcast platforms, as well as a comprehensive array of on-demand (VOD) digital content including additional live games and events.

Viewers can find Stadium in Boston on WUTF-DT4. To locate Stadium in your location, visit watchstadium.com and click on the IFL tab. Enter your zip code to learn if and where the game may be carried in your area. You can also stream the game right from that page.

Future Pirates appearances on the IFL Game of the Week are possible. Over the final five weeks of the season, Stadium and the IFL will determine the most intriguing and meaningful matchups related to the postseason race and air those games, allowing viewers to see some of the most important games of the 2021 IFL season.
