In a partnership with the American Cancer Society, the Massachusetts Pirates are proud to host their annual White-out Cancer Night this Saturday, June 12th, at 7:05PM at Phoenix Field at the DCU Center against the first-place Frisco Fighters.
ACS is a community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem through a mix of fundraising, research, patient support, and promotion of avenues for cancer prevention.
The Pirates will honor local Massachusetts cancer survivors in a half-time presentation, and you can show your support for these and all survivors nationwide by wearing white and donating to the Pirates pledge page against cancer, found at www.pledgeit.org/masspirates-vs-cancer. The pledge can be made either in a one-time set payment, or by making a pledge for every point scored during the White-out Cancer game this Saturday. All proceeds from the pledge will support the American Cancer Society.
Wear your white and join the Pirates and ACS this Saturday at 7:05PM to cheer them and all survivors on as they face their toughest challenge yet: Cancer.
