WORCESTER, MA. — The Massachusetts Pirates are pleased to announce the re-signing of offensive lineman Kendall Baker. At 6’5”, 300 pounds, Baker was originally signed by the Pirates for the 2020 season, which was cancelled due to COVID-19.

“I’m excited to be with the Pirates again,” Baker told MassPiratesFootball.com. “I’m thankful to be able to keep playing football.”

Pirates President and General Manager Jawad Yatim is looking forward to seeing Baker on the field next Spring. “I’m excited to see Kendall get up here and get to work once we get things kicked off in the spring. He’s extremely motivated to put some productive film together and use this platform to get to where he wants to be. I think he’ll be a good addition to our ball club and glad to have him back on board.”

Prior to joining the Pirates, Baker played college football at the University of Georgia. After appearing in just five combined games in his first two seasons on the field, Baker started 14 of 15 games as a Redshirt Junior, including the 2018 National Championship Game.
