Pirates Announce Voting on Theme Nights
By: Sam Gordon
The Massachusetts Pirates are gearing up for their debut IFL season with exciting theme nights for the fans!
For each of the eight games, the team will highlight themes ranging from Star Wars night to Spongebob night.
The team is also taking it one step forward with allowing fans to vote on their eight favorite themes for game days.
Director of marketing Jesse Heninger is ecstatic to be able to give fans the power to decide.
“We are so happy to be able to not only create all of our 2021 Theme Night options,” Heninger told masspiratesfootball.com. “To have Pirate Nation and IFL fans around the country vote on them and let their voice be heard is a total home run.”
From a ticketing perspective, it adds a completely different dimension to reach the ears of fans.
Director of ticket sales Brittany Fuller outlined how this vote will be attractive to Pirates fans young and old to be further involved in deciding their gameday experience.
I am very excited for these theme night options. There is something for all ages and most of these themes appeal to every age group,” Fuller said. “They will enhance the total experience and add even more entertainment to our game days.”
