Offseason Plans: Al Louis-Jean

By: Sam Gordon

The canceled season has not stopped defensive back Al Louis-Jean from keeping his eyes on the prize.
Not only is he focusing on getting his body right, but possibly helping others do the same.
“There are some guys from Boston who don’t have access to great quality training so I just wanna help some people that I know or don’t know,” Louis-Jean told “Just give them a good push and give back to the game. Kind of how it helped me.”

The Boston College alum has also made strides in his clothing company called Wavey Baby. The brand has grown fast reaching the hands of notable celebrities including New England Patriots cornerback J.C. Jackson.
“The clothing line has been getting some attention and good remarks which is all that counts that people really like how it looks,” Louis-Jean said. “When you start a business, it’s really slow but once you start, it’s really good to see that people really like how it looks.”
Like football, the clothing line is a team effort between him and a few friends.
“We’re all contributing to make it go around and get bigger,” Louis-Jean said. “It was my friend’s idea for it to be called Wavey Baby and everything and just came to us and asked what we think. We just supported him behind and now we’ve just been selling the product and things like that.”
As for 2021, Louis-Jean is not even thinking about it.
“We didn’t even get to play this year so honestly I’m not really focused on next season,” Louis-Jean said. “It will be great when next season comes around, but it was really disappointing that we didn’t get to play this year so it’s kind of far off to start jumping on everything for next season already so I haven’t even gotten there yet.”
