Offseason Plans: Ron’Quavion Tarver

By Sam Gordon

Former Utah State wide receiver Ron’Quavion Tarver’s made most of his short time in Worcester due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

“I definitely learned the routes and got more comfortable with the game as a whole,” Tarver told masspiratesfootball.com. “In the end though, it was easy to adjust to.”

Tarver or as most people call him, ‘Deebo,’ is excited to work on himself and build his body as well as his brand this offseason.

“I’m just gonna keep working out and try to make some money,” Tarver said. “Hopefully I will get another chance to play because unfortunately, it really isn’t up to me whether someone comes knocking at my door.”

Even though Tarver did not play one down in a Pirates uniform, he feels like a better player than he was at the start of this year.

“I feel like I improved a lot in terms of my football I.Q.,” Tarver said. “This whole new experience was great for me and my preparation for the next level.”

The Pirates play all home games at the DCU Center located at 50 Foster St. Worcester, MA, 01608.
